Publication Frequency

The first issue of JMRS was published in June 2018. The journal aims to publish one issue per year. In addition to the regular issues, suitable proposals for a special issue may be considered for publication by the editorial board. For the consideration you may submit your proposal to the Chief editor via the website.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Sustainability (JMRS) is an independent and international multidisciplinary Open Access peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of sustainability which aims to advance scholarly debate and academic research from a multidisciplinary perspective. It seeks to develop further local, cross-border and global research into sustainability and its implementation. The journal positions itself as a true multi- and interdisciplinary journal. Each issue is based around a theme which allows a focus on exploring a topic from a number of angles. The journal also aims to further the debate around the concept of sustainability itself from a multidisciplinary perspective
